STUDENTS' ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (SAP)
The Core Team Teachers' Training Programs The Core Team Teachers' Training Program of SAP Trinity Lyceum School, Kollam was conducted on 7th July 2011 at school auditorium at 3pm. Mr.John S. Principal of the school welcomed the SAP Training Team members and the teachers. Rev.Dr.Jose Puthenveed, Mr. Bijo Joseph and Mary Betsy Wood of SJGCC Kollam conducted the training session for Students’ Evaluation Program (SEP).
The Core Team Teachers' Training Program of SAP Vimalahridaya ISC School, Kollam was conducted on 12th July 2011 at 3pm. Sr.Rexia Mary, Principal of the school welcomed the SAP Training Team members and the teachers. Rev.Dr.Jose Puthenveed, Mr. Bijo Joseph of SJGCC Kollam conducted the training session for Students’ Evaluation Program (SEP).
College Teachers Awareness Programs
A one-day seminar on ‘’Revamping Teaching Attitudes ‘’of college teachers was conducted on 29th June 2011 from 10 A.M till 3.30 P.M at St.Michael’s College,Cherthala, Alleppy. Fr.Solomon Charanghat, Manager of the College inaugurated the seminar. Mr.Mathews, coordinator of Guidance Services welcomed the participants. Rev.Dr.Jose Puthenveed, Mr.Bijo J & Sr.Melvina of Holy Cross were the resource persons. Suicide Prevention Programs "Suicidal Attempts and Preventive Methods"
A joint Workshop on the above topic was conducted at Animation Centre, Kottiyam, Kollam on 2nd April 2011 by St.Joseph's Guidance & Counseling Centre and Animation Centre. Discussion and reports of the Parish survey on suicidal occurrences was presented. Many parish representatives and sisters attended the program.
Rt.Rev.Dr.Stanley Roman, Bishop of Quilon Diocese, inaugurated the workshop. Rev.Msgr.Jesudas Vicar General welcomed the participants and Rev.Dr.Jose Puthenveed facilitated the program. A follow-up was decided for the participants after six months.
